Distance Contract

SIA ZIEDU BĀZE RĪGA, registration № 40203062931, registered office: Artilerijas 25, Rīga, LV-1001, Latvia, and the Buyer, making an order at krokus.lv, conclude this Contract. By placing an order, the Buyer confirms they have read and accepted all terms of use and the provisions of this Distance Contract.

All prices presented in the shop are inclusive of value added tax. Payment for goods and services constitutes the fact of ordering and irrevocable compliance by the Buyer with all Rules.

Right of withdrawal: The Buyer has the right to return goods to SIA ZIEDU BĀZE RĪGA within 14 days from receipt, without providing a reason. Used, damaged, or improperly packaged goods cannot be returned. Cut flowers, bouquets, flower arrangements and indoor plants are non-returnable by law (Cabinet of Ministers Rules № 207, clause 15.3).

SIA ZIEDU BĀZE RĪGA reserves the right to cancel an order unilaterally and refund the full cost to the buyer if the order cannot be fulfilled due to circumstances beyond its control — for example, if an item is unavailable for more than 30 days or the production season has ended.

Quality Assurance

All photos of our works presented on the website are examples of executed arrangements. A flower arrangement is unique and inimitable — it may slightly differ in certain elements, appearance or packaging material. We may replace the quantity or type of flowers based on season and availability. Our florists compose all arrangements exclusively from fresh natural flowers and do everything possible to match the presented example as closely as possible.

Photo on Delivery
We photograph the recipient at the moment of delivery and send it to your email. The face is automatically blurred for privacy. Free of charge.
Claims at Delivery
If the recipient has any quality concerns, they have the right to refuse the bouquet on the spot and return it to the courier. Call +371 200 303 06 immediately.
Please note: Claims cannot be accepted after the bouquet has been accepted by the recipient. Flowers are a living product — we cannot be responsible for their condition once they are in your care, as conditions at home cannot be controlled.

Financial Guarantees

If an order is cancelled at least 24 hours before its scheduled execution, a full refund will be issued. For major holidays (14 February and 8 March) the cancellation window is 72 hours in advance.

Please note: when processing a refund, payment system fees of approximately 4–7% cannot be returned as these are charged by the payment provider, not by Krokus.

Our recommendation: Instead of cancelling, we suggest transferring the paid amount to a different delivery date. This way no refund is needed and the full amount is carried over — with no processing fees deducted.

If a cancellation is requested after the deadline, we can only postpone delivery to another time or day. In this case, the bouquet already composed for delivery will not be remade.

Guarantee of Timeliness

Every order at Krokus studio is registered in our automated information system. The system monitors all orders in real time, notifying florists, couriers, and customers about every event related to their order. This means each order is guaranteed to be tracked from placement to delivery.

We deliver all orders at the time specified by the customer. If delivery at the specified time becomes impossible, or a delay of more than 30 minutes is anticipated, we will contact the customer and agree on the next steps.

  1. Order placed — registered immediately in our automated system. Florists are notified and begin preparing your arrangement.
  2. Arrangement prepared — you receive an SMS update confirming your order is ready for dispatch.
  3. Courier dispatched — the courier's route is calculated in advance, accounting for traffic conditions.
  4. Delivered on time — 99% of our orders arrive as scheduled. Any exceptions are resolved individually with the customer.
Traffic delays: If the courier encounters heavy traffic (congestion of more than 8 points), delivery may be up to 1 hour late without prior notification. We always do our best to keep you informed via SMS at every stage.
Deliveries Outside Riga
For remote areas we cannot guarantee an exact arrival time, but we guarantee delivery on your chosen day by 22:00. For holiday deliveries to remote cities, please call +371 200 303 06.

We send SMS updates at every key stage of your order so you are always informed about its progress.

Servicing Guarantees

Orders placed by phone, email, or complex compound orders are processed manually by our managers. We will review and confirm your request within 24 hours. In most cases you can track your order online in your personal account immediately after placement.

We photograph recipients at the moment of delivery and send the photo to the email address provided at checkout. The recipient's face is automatically blurred for privacy. This photo may also be featured in our portfolio — if you or the recipient would prefer otherwise, please let us know at any time and we will remove it immediately.

Flower & Product Replacements

On occasion, we may need to substitute certain flowers or packaging, while preserving the overall appearance and value of the bouquet. Our specialists have the right to make equivalent substitutions of packaging or flower material at their professional discretion, always keeping to the cost and style of the arrangement.

Please note: our online catalog shows approximate stem lengths and bouquet sizes. The actual dimensions may vary slightly — typically by 5–10 cm.

Fruit baskets: The composition of fruit baskets may vary depending on seasonal availability and quality standards in our region. The photo on the website is always an example, not an exact sample. Our specialists will always compose the most presentable order possible within your chosen budget — and any substitution will always be of equal value and quality.
